Michael has been practicing Acupuncture for 12 years now. He is originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, and he lived in East Tennessee until he was 24. Michael graduated from Tennessee Tech with honors in Psychology. After having his migraines helped with Chinese medicine, he decided to move to Seattle and learn Acupuncture at one of the top 3 universities in the country, Bastyr University.
Michael graduated Bastyr with honors in 2009 and went on to train underneath skilled practitioners for 2 more years when he left school. He learned to specialize in almost painless and very gentle Acupuncture. Michael and his wife then moved to Fairbanks, Alaska for 6 years and worked in a wonderful multidisciplinary clinic in Alaska.
For the last 4 years Michael has owned a successful clinic in Salem, Oregon. But after all this time, he decided it was time to move back home. Michael, his wife Kim, and their 3 kids are so excited to be living in Western North Carolina. Michael spent a lot of time in these mountains as a kid, and they were the best times of his life. He looks forward to setting roots down in one of the most wonderful areas in the country, and helping all of Western North Carolina!
